Ecological surveys for planning - fast!

Located in Newcastle upon Tyne, we provide ecological surveys to support planning applications. We are based in the North East of England  working primarily in North Tyneside, Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, Durham and Northumberland.

Ecological Surveys

To avoid planning delays, get an ecological survey done as early as possible in the planning process. If your local government ecologist doesn't get sight of your planning proposal at the start of the process you may be asked for ecological surveys just when you had hoped for a planning decision . This can delay your development by several months, so act early!

By undertaking an ecological survey our ecologists can quickly establish the baseline ecology of your site and the need for any further survey work.

Bat Surveys & Other Protected Species
Protected species include bats, great crested newts, reptiles, badgers, otters, water voles and white-clawed crayfish. We work with a number of licensed ecologists who can undertake protected species surveys and devise appropriate mitigation and management to ensure you get through the planning process successfully.
